The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.

PRIVACY, SALES AND RETURN POLICIES

A. PRIVACY STATEMENT
Your privacy and business are important to us, and we are not in the business of selling contact information. Customer information, including e-mail and mailing address are for the use of Expedition Cargo only and will not be sold or given to third parties.

B. ITEM DESCRIPTIONS
All items are described with as much accuracy as possible regarding origin, age and other characteristics. All items are authentic and details regarding condition, restoration and other quality issues are included within item descriptions. Tribal art travels a long distance and in many cases are years old. There may be some slight cracks and chips but that is a part of the trade. I do the best to note these in the discriptions especially if they are notable.

C. CONDITIONS OF SALE:

i. Payment must be made in full via Pay Pal before shipment and transfer of item. I will ship world wide but there will be added fees due to Paypal increased fees for overseas Paypal transfer charges. I will accept Personal and Business checks and they must clear before shipping. A $40.00 charge is applied to all checks that arrive NSF!

ii. Shipping costs will be disclosed prior to completion of sale.

iii. Shipping costs and optional shipping insurance are too paid by the buyer prior to shipment.

iv. Items will be shipped on Mondays by a traceable carrier.

v. Packing costs to be are the responsibility of the seller.

vi. Local taxes and duties to be the responsibility of the buyer.

vii. Shipping and Billing address must be the same.

viii . I ship worldwide. However there, will be extra fees if item is paid through Paypal due to exchange rates and the extra fees of Paypal.

D. WRITTEN RECEIPT
Written receipt of purchase will be included with all shipments.

E. EXAMINATION PERIOD

i. The examination period from the receipt of goods is 24 hours unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. If there is damage to the items it must be reported within 24 hours after arrival. This is due to the time frame of having to deal with this with the shipping company.

ii. All sales become final at the expiry of the examination period

F. RETURNS CRITERIA DURING EXAMINATION PERIOD
Returns will be accepted under the following circumstances:

i. Damage to item in shipping. Photo documentation of damaged item as well as notification to shipping company and seller required within 24 hours of receipt.

ii. Dissatisfaction with item, only if seller is notified during examination period.

iii. Other concerns as agreed upon by buyer and seller during examination period.

G. RETURNS PROCEDURE DURING EXAMINATION PERIOD

i. The buyer must contact seller directly via e-mail within examination period or within 24 hours if item is damaged upon receipt.

ii. Should a return be agreed upon, the item it must be suitably packed and arrive in the same condition

iii. Buyer must include photo documentation of damaged item via e-mail before packaging item for return.

iv. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs

v. The seller will refund the purchase price – minus shipping – after receipt and examination of the returned item.
